Job Description: F&BCS is seeking a Fire Alarm Engineer/Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and reviewing fire alarm systems, conducting pre-inspections, creating detailed punch lists, and attending FDNY inspections to facilitate a seamless approval process.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Design of Fire Alarm Systems
- Perform pre-inspections and create punch lists of identified deficiencies of various types
of fire alarm systems before FDNY inspection.
- Attend FDNY inspections and address any concerns raised by inspector.
- Participate in client meetings to coordinate inspections and requirements related to fire
alarm systems.
- Provide support and backup to co-workers.
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Proficient knowledge of the 2022 Building Code.
- Experience in designing and engineering fire alarm systems (Beneficial).
- Proficiency in ACAD; ability to prepare plans using ACAD (Beneficial).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical ability to meet the demands of the job.
- Flexibility and willingness to work overtime when required.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic computer skills.
- Team player.
