Job Description
Selectek is seeking a Life Safety/Fire Systems Inspector on a direct hire basis. Our partnering company, located in Marion, South Carolina is growing in production and needs to add more members to their team. Candidates can live anywhere in North or South Carolina and will be provided a company vehicle.Employment Type: Direct Hire
Expected Pay Range: $52,000 - $80,000 annual salary, based on experience
Location: Anywhere in North or South Carolina
Responsibilities
Job Details:- Test and inspect water-based systems, pre-engineered system, fire extinguisher, and backflow- Check for preventive maintenance with knowledge of multiple manufacturers’ products.- Provide accurate and detailed inspections reports with all proper documentation of improvements and complications - Assist in selling company services for any identified deficiencies.
Job Requirements
• Have a strong knowledge of NFPA codes and industry standards. Maintain good habits and do not cut corners. • Communicate effectively with your leaders regarding job status and any concerns. • You have full authority to stop work if you observe unsafe actions. • Meet the responsibility to be fit for duty every day; there is a zero-tolerance policy for substance abuse. • Be productive and keep inactive time to a minimum. • Keep your work truck clean and organized. • In addition to required PPE, dress appropriately to represent yourself and the company as a professional tradesman and organization, respectively. In addition to these requirements, candidates must hold United States citizenship, per the client’s request. Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.
