Based in Freeport, NY, this role serves projects throughout NYC and surrounding counties, performing inspections, service calls, and repairs on a variety of systems.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance inspections on fire alarm systems from various manufacturers
- Respond to and complete service calls promptly and efficiently
- Troubleshoot and repair fire alarm devices and control panels
- Ensure all work complies with FDNY codes and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and service calls
- Collaborate with team members and clients to resolve system issues
- Demonstrate proficiency with fire alarm system equipment and technologies
- Hold and maintain a valid FDNY S-98 Certificate
- Apply knowledge of NYC fire alarm systems and local codes (preferred)
Job Requirements
Candidate Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a Fire Alarm Technician or related role
- FDNY S-98 Certificate (preferred)
- Manufacturer certifications (e.g., Siemens, Notifier) – a plus
- OSHA 10/30 and NICET Level 2 certifications – preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Strong communication and customer service skills
