OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our guests, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, with responsibilities that include monitoring premises, preventing losses, and responding to incidents effectively.
Responsibilities
ResponsibilitiesMonitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of individuals on-site.Document incidents and prepare reports as required for management review.Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary, providing information and support during investigations.
Job Requirements
QualificationFamiliarity with surveillance equipment (CCTV) and monitoring systems is advantageous.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.Previous world class luxury hotel security experience.Successful FDNY onsite examination for T89 or F89 license is required.F01, F03, F04 fire guard certification welcomed.New York State Security License required.
