Title: Lead Fire Alarm Technician
Location: Raleigh, NC
Pay: $65K-$80K
NICET preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Travel to project sites as needed to determine project status, scope and/or schedule.
- Work directly with Operations to establish project timeline and completion date.
- Coordinate material release and delivery requirements.
- Manage and schedule field personnel.
- Coordinate final inspections with all supporting trades.
- Prepare project change orders, coordinate material release and deliveries.
- Identify opportunities for cost-saving measures and quality improvement.
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years’ experience with Fire Alarm Installation and New Construction of commercial projects,
- 3 year of experience in a Foreman/Supervisor role.
- Ability to read prints for multi floor buildings while directing manpower to complete task on time.
- Knowledge of resource allocation, leadership, production methods, and the coordination of manpower.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Experience with a variety of system types and manufacturers.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of industry codes such as NFPA, IBC, AND NEC.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
- Excellent planning, organizing and implementing skills which allow the successful completion of a project by a specific due date.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
