Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Extinguisher Service Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the service, installation, and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers in accordance with NFPA 10 and other applicable safety regulations. This role requires a solid understanding of NYC parking regulations, construction practices, and fire safety standards. The technician will collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure the successful completion of fire protection projects.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.82 - $22.73 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Perform service, installation, and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers in compliance with AHJ requirements and NFPA 10 standards.
- Hold a valid Certificate of Fitness demonstrating proven experience in the field.
- Must hold an up-to-date, clean driver’s license and be comfortable navigating NYC roads and parking regulations.
- Understand and apply NYC parking rules and construction site regulations.
- Participate in fire extinguisher inspections, maintenance, and sales as needed.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal team members.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities in daily tasks.
- Stay current with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
