This position is based out of our 1070 Rte. 9 location in Schodack, NY. bleshooting abilities and have excellent communication skills. This position will involve working both 1st and 2nd shift hours and travel accordingly.

Responsibilities
The Fire System Mechanic will work with our school district customers to inspect, test and maintain fire alarm systems; inspect kitchen suppression hood systems; complete related inspection and service reports in a timely and accurate manner; and provide customer service excellence to our clients. Additional duties include assisting in inspection, maintenance and service of all classes of fire extinguishers. Job Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent, valid NYS driver’s license, basic computer skills, experience in testing and maintenance of fire alarm systems, experience with use of various hand tools, and ability to lift fifty pounds. Preferred candidates will have certifications in testing and maintaining fire/security alarms and kitchen hood suppression systems. Knowledge and/or experience in maintaining portable fire extinguishers is a plus.
