This position is responsible for general warehouse operations such as organizing/cleaning the workspace, refilling stock, general safety and learning the technical items of the trade.
This is a warehouse technician role that primarily involves recharging and testing fire extinguishers. Pay range is $18.99 to $28.49 depending on years of industry experience.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Must have a minimum of two years in general warehouse operations.
- Receiving freight, operating a forklift, and stocking the warehouse
- Perform all inventory counts and maintain inventory stock levels.
- Check in orders and stock all inventory items.
- Maintain adequate shipping supplies.
- Perform all shipping.
- Keep shop organized and clean.
- Maintain, clean, and organize all shop tools.
- Check specialty tools in and out.
- Maintaining extinguishers and system cylinders in various locations in shop.
- Record and document all inspections, repairs, discrepancies, and recommendations either electronically or manually.
- Maintain a good positive relationship with the customer and pass on information to the appropriate personnel for follow up, quotes, questions, or concerns.
- Maintain equipment and tools necessary to safely perform job.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Other Duties:
- Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.

Job Requirements
Education/Qualification:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Any vocational training is strongly desired.
- Industry experience preferred.
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to work in a team environment as well as work independently.
- Requires the ability to display knowledge of principles, practices, codes and regulations related to the work.
- Requires the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
- Requires the ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.
- Requires the ability to use or repair small/light equipment, such as power tools, ladders, medium equipment and machinery.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent lifting and carrying of toolboxes, equipment, parts, tools, equipment, cabling, and/or wiring.
- Frequent ladder climbing and checking, pulling wire, etc.
- Walking, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, and raising hands overhead.
