Job Description
Tests and documents required parameters associated with all Energy Center equipment (both mechanical and chemical). Assists Stationary Engineer in the operation and maintenance of high-pressure steam boilers, chillers, cogeneration and auxiliary equipment.

Job Responsibility
- * Tests and documents required parameters associated with all Energy Center equipment (both mechanical and chemical)
- * Assists Stationary Engineer in the operation and maintenance of high-pressure steam boilers, chillers, cogeneration and auxiliary equipment
- * Tests and ensures proper water chemistry of the boilers, chillers, cogeneration and cooling towers
- * Performs hourly rounds of Energy Center and log all parameters for review and repair as needed
- * Carries out preventative maintenance of associated equipment as required by Stationary Engineer.
- * Inspects cooling towers for proper operation including, but not limited to, gearbox oil, water level and steam injection system.
- * Records gas and fuel oil usage in outer buildings as required
- * Inspects the gas tranes for the Energy Center and Cogeneration Plant.
- * Conducts periodic inspections of utility pits containing utility systems to the medical center.
- * Assists Stationary Engineers in start-up, operating and securing all related systems.
- * Assists outside contractors in performing tasks related to the Energy Center.
- * Ensures the Energy Center is kept clean and orderly.Performs related duties as required.

Job Requirements
Job Qualification
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Mechanical Trade School, preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) year plant operations experience, required.
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.
