Mulligan Security, the tri-state's leading private security organization, has immediate job opportunities for Fire and Life Safety Directors at Class “A” properties in New York City.
The starting wage is $26.00 per hour, including an extensive benefit package; comprehensive healthcare, 401k plan, paid holidays, paid sick time and vacation.
Responsibilities
Specific Duties and Essential Functions
- Maintaining accurate fire and life safety log books in accordance with NYC Fire Code
- Be a liaison between Property Management, building staff and first responders in the event of an emergency
- Communicate with Site Supervisors and Property Management
- Conduct drills, training and other day to day oversight of fire and life safety plan in accordance with NYC Fire Code
- Ensure that all FDNY Inspections, Testing & Maintenance is scheduled, completed and documented
- Assist in securing the facility as required by the site which may include: access control, patrols and other assigned du
Job Requirements
Education, Licenses and Certifications Required:
- Education: High school diploma/GED
- 18 years of age
- Security Guard training and/or license (or be willing to obtain)
- Driver’s License (if contractually required)
- State Photo Identification
- Medical exam (if contractually required)
- Verifiable Security Experience (between 1 year to 3 years, depending on contract)
- Previous employment verification
- Must have a valid F-89 license (T-89 or Z-89 won't be considered for this position)
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing

- Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors

- Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
