Responsibilities
- Ability to perform code analysis and prepare technical reports.
- Strong understanding of life safety systems and integration with building systems.
- Experience coordinating with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in healthcare design
- Successful completion of the NCEES Principles and Practice exam in Fire Protection Engineering.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license with eligibility for registration in multiple states.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Familiarity with NFPA Codes (13, 14, 20, 72, 99, 101).
- Knowledge of International Building Codes and local jurisdictional requirements.
- Experience with hydraulic calculations and fire suppression system layout.
