We are a national engineering and risk mitigation consultancy is seeking a highly skilled and service-driven Assistant Regional Fire Protection Sales Manager to support the daily operations, technical execution, and team leadership within an assigned regional practice.

This role reports to the Regional Practice Leader (RPL) and is responsible for ensuring quality project delivery, client satisfaction, and staff development across multidisciplinary fire protection engineering and consulting projects. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership ability, engineering or architecture background, and experience in managing client relationships and project performance.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities of Project Management Leader:

  • Provide day-to-day management and leadership to a regional team of engineers, consultants, and designers
  • Ensure project quality, consistency, and delivery timelines meet or exceed company and client expectations
  • Lead internal initiatives to promote team performance, employee development, and technical excellence
  • Serve as a key client interface—addressing issues, supporting relationship building, and providing solutions
  • Oversee and contribute to the execution of fire protection engineering services, including code consulting, performance-based design, reports, and deliverables
  • Facilitate technical presentations and client meetings; coordinate across internal teams (engineering, facilities, real estate, finance)
  • Support business development efforts in collaboration with regional leadership
  • Assist with employee scheduling, performance reviews, and professional mentoring
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards
  • Track regional financial performance, including budgeting and revenue forecasting
  • Participate in continuous improvement and strategic growth planning within the region

Job Requirements

Qualifications of Project Management Leader

  • 5+ years of experience in engineering, fire protection, or architecture (consulting or design)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture preferred
  • Management experience (5+ years) leading technical or cross-functional teams
  • Sales or business development experience is a strong plus
  • PE license (Professional Engineer) preferred or ability to obtain
  • NICET or Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) certification is a plus
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, motivate teams, and deliver client-focused solutions
  • Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
