Responsibilities
**Responsibilities:**
– Install, inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm systems according to national and local fire codes.
– Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning systems promptly and efficiently.
– Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of fire alarm equipment.
– Document all work performed, including testing, inspections, and repairs.
– Provide technical support and training to customers and junior technicians as needed.
Job Requirements
**Requirements:**
– Valid Fire Alarm Technician License– Minimum of 5 years of experience in installing and maintaining fire alarm systems.
– Thorough knowledge of NFPA codes and standards.
– Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
– Excellent communication and customer service skills.
– Ability to lift and carry equipment and tools as necessary (must be able to lift 50lbs).
