Responsibilities
What Makes It Different
This isn’t a desk job. It’s a field-driven, high-energy sales role where you’ll:
- Knock on doors and hunt for new opportunities.
- Meet with owners and facility managers.
- Inspect kitchens, rooftops, and equipment (training provided).
- Show clients the real risks they face—and close the deal.
What You’ll Do
- Prospect, hunt, and close new B2B accounts across Bergen County.
- Conduct on-site fire safety and kitchen exhaust inspections.
- Educate clients on compliance laws, fire risks, and cleaning requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with restaurant owners, property managers, and inspectors.
- Prepare proposals and service plans using our CRM (training provided).
- Manage your pipeline, follow up with rigor, and consistently hit targets.
Job Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Hunter mentality — thrive on chasing deals, not waiting for leads.
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience (field/territory preferred).
- Fearless with cold outreach and door-to-door prospecting.
- High energy, resilient, coachable, and results-driven.
- Strong communicator and negotiator.
- Comfortable with physical site inspections (rooftops, ladders, lifting 40+ lbs).
- CRM proficiency (ServiceMinder, HubSpot, Salesforce, etc. a plus).
- Fire safety, facility services, or restaurant background is a plus (not required).
