Our valued client is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Superintendent to oversee field operations for fire sprinkler installation projects on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys managing field crews, coordinating project schedules, and ensuring compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise field installation crews for fire sprinkler projects
  • Coordinate daily operations, schedules, and material deliveries
  • Maintain jobsite safety, quality standards, and compliance with NFPA/local codes
  • Serve as a point of contact between project managers, field teams, and customers
  • Provide troubleshooting support and assist with complex installations as needed
  • Track project progress and report updates to management
  • Mentor and train team members to support skill development

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in fire sprinkler installation, with supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of NFPA standards and fire code requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Must be able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • NICET certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
