Job Summary:
The position serves as an important part of the Technician team who specializes in the installation of commercial sprinkler systems. The role performs onsite emergency troubleshooting and repairs and identifies code and non-compliance issues. The position requires reliability, thoroughness, and strong attention to detail along with self-motivation and confidence. Since this role interfaces with FSF customers and helps to drive customer satisfaction, the Technician must display a friendly, customer-oriented temperament. Our technicians are expected to reflect the company’s goal “to serve our customers with outstanding professionalism.”
Job Type:
- Full-time, on-site, Monday - Friday
- 40 hours a week

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures customers are serviced to the highest level of satisfaction through quality service and met expectations prior to leaving the jobsite
- Conducts installation, modifications and repairs of fire sprinkler systems
- Performs troubleshooting, service, and repairs of sprinkler systems
- Identifies code violations and other non-compliant issues and recommends solutions
- Reads and understands inspection reports, product specification sheets, O&M manuals, drawing, blueprints, and fire codes
- Completes and produces reports (as needed) that are legible, accurate, and detailed; completes work orders and other documents accurately and on time
- Interacts professionally with customers, building engineers, property managers, and acts as an efficient team member within the department
- Uses a company provided service vehicle for work (if applicable) and keeps it well maintained and supplied with all parts, tools, and equipment; keeps the vehicle clean and organized with a complete inventory of tools and supplies
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills to receive and convey information clearly and effectively at all levels of the FSF organization
- Helps to identify continuous improvement solutions to promote efficiency
- Adheres to all company employment policies and safe practices, specifically CAL OSHA and safety measures related to work
- Performs other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Experience/Training/Education:
- High School Diploma
- 5 years of experience in this respective field
- Knowledge of NFPA13, 25, and CA Fire Code
- Valid Cal Fire Fitter Certification
- Safety training specific to the role
