Fire Suppression Technician
Job Description
Farrers Fire Protection is a fast-growing fire protection company that is seeking a Fire Fire Suppression / Fire Extinguisher Technician to join our team. We are based out of Charlotte, NC and are currently servicing the great states of North Carolina and South Carolina.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Performing inspections, maintenance, and installation of fire extinguishers.
- Completing scheduled inspections and paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Providing customers with industry leading expertise and thoroughly discussing repairs that are necessary for compliance.
- Responsible to be well organized, neat, and able to communicate well.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license [Clean Driving Record]
- Must be able to obtain NFPA 17A,17, 96 certificates and or license within probationary period.
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
Preferred
- Fire protection experience is preferred but training is provided to meet company standards.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledgeable and comfortable using hand tools (channel locks, drills, etc.)
- Excellent attendance and able to handle responsibility.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
This is a full-time position that includes distant driving with possible overnight travel at times.
