Responsibilities
What's the Job?
- Maintain and operate firewalls, ensuring all security rulesets are aligned with organizational and project requirements.
- Implement ruleset changes and configurations related to firewall environments, supporting divestiture projects and cloud integrations.
- Support the build and management of virtual firewalls in cloud service providers such as Azure, AWS, and OCI.
- Act as a subject matter expert for security technologies, providing guidance and leadership within the team.
- Collaborate with Security Operations and CIRT to integrate logs and security information into monitoring platforms, enhancing detection and response capabilities.
Job Requirements
What's Needed?
- Minimum of five years experience in network design, implementation, and operation, including firewall management.
- Experience with enterprise firewall platforms, especially Palo Alto, with Fortigate as a plus.
- Knowledge of cloud networking, particularly Azure, AWS, and OCI, and experience with Cisco VPN routers and third-party device connectivity.
- Strong communication skills and experience working in a global environment.
- Process discipline, documentation skills, and familiarity with tools like ServiceNow and SIEM platforms such as Splunk.
