Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Design plumbing and fire protection systems for various projects.
- Collaborate with architects and other engineers to integrate plumbing and fire protection systems into building designs.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Conduct hydraulic calculations and ensure systems meet applicable codes and standards.
- Perform on-site inspections and assessments to verify system installation and compliance.
- Provide technical support and guidance during the construction phase.
- Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and advancements in plumbing and fire protection engineering.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in plumbing and fire protection engineering (8+ years)
- Proficiency in AutoDesk Revit MEP, and AutoCAD software.
- Knowledge of plumbing design and fire protection systems.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards such as NFPA 13 and local building codes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
