Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Fire Sprinkler/Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This position is ideal for recent graduates who are passionate about engineering and eager to apply their knowledge in a practical setting. As an Entry-Level Engineer, you will work under the guidance of experienced professionals and contribute to the design, installation, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems and other mechanical engineering projects.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and layout of fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA standards and local building codes.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather necessary data.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications using CAD software.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure project success.
- Perform hydraulic calculations and other engineering analyses to support system design.
- Participate in the review and approval of shop drawings and submittals.
- Assist in the inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship or co-op experience in fire protection or mechanical engineering.
- Familiarity with NFPA standards and local building codes.
- Experience with hydraulic calculation software.
