On-Site Fire and Life Safety Coordinator
Job Description
We are looking for a motivated, driven Fire Alarm/Sprinkler technician who works well under minimal supervision. Self-starter and good organizational skills are a must. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of a large, multi-building industrial site through the lens of fire, sprinkler, life safety, and risk management. Candidate must be able to work well with contractors/maintenance staff, as well as be able to effectively communicate and coordinate with all parties involved.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities
Duties
Review and interpret Fire Alarm shop drawings and understand scopes of work
· Coordination with on-site contractors
· Disabling of fire alarm systems in preparation for contractor work
· Perform all annual fire alarm inspections, and all quarterly sprinkler inspections
· Maintain organized records of all necessary inspections
· Perform Monthly fire pump runs required by code
· Maintain accurate records of all project-related content
Job Requirements
Qualifications
State of Ohio Fire Alarm License
· State of Ohio Sprinkler License
· Minimum 5 Years experience in the Fire Alarm industry preferred
· State of Ohio Fire Pump License preferred, or willingness to obtain it
· Good understanding of low-voltage electronics, and “general curiosity” to always learn more
· Valid drivers license with clean driving record
