Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol premises to ensure the safety and security of property, employees, and visitors
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting individuals as needed
- Enforce policies and procedures
- Document incidents and complete detailed reports promptly and accurately
- Remain vigilant and proactive in identifying potential security risks
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of security experience (prior military experience is highly encouraged)
- Valid New York State Security Guard License
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
- Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe environment
- Ability to work independently, and as part of a team
Certification Requirements
- NYS Security Guard License
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
