Join a dynamic team working on a large life sciences and pharmaceutical manufacturing project in Boulder, CO. This project involves the demolition of an existing building and the construction of a new facility on a large pharmaceutical campus. The role is a full-time, salaried position with an expected commitment of 40 hours per week over the remaining 18 months of the project.

- Serve as the Safety Program team representative during construction operations for all capital projects at the manufacturing site.
- Audit and monitor all construction work to ensure compliance with established safety programs and procedural requirements.
- Engage directly with construction and operations teams to enforce compliance with safety programs, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Hot Work Permitting, Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry, and Safe Job Planning and Execution.
- Mentor and coach field personnel on safe work practices in alignment with safety programs and industry best practices.
- Identify and correct unsafe conditions or behaviors observed in the field.
- Escalate safety issues and report unsafe practices through proper channels.
- Collaborate with site and project personnel to investigate safety incidents.
- Actively participate in safety improvement initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Job Requirements
Essential Skills
- Experience in safety-related roles, including oversight or management of safety programs.
- On-site construction safety experience.
- Experience working on large-scale CAPEX industrial projects across various disciplines (e.g., heavy civil, structural, mechanical, electrical).
- Familiarity with process equipment and commissioning activities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Safety certifications or formal safety training preferred (e.g., OSHA 30, CSP, CHST, or equivalent).
