
Fire Alarm Technician
Job Description
Perform inspection, testing, service, and installation of Life Safety systems, including Fire Alarm and Special Hazard.
Responsibilities
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform fire alarm/special hazard inspections.
- Complete all paperwork in a timely manner.
- Complete installation of fire alarm/special hazard detection and control systems and associated wiring per NFPA guidelines and customer requirements.
- Perform troubleshooting on all aspects of fire alarm systems including panels, wiring, and devices.
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
Michigan FAST license required
NICET certification in Fire Alarm/Special Hazards a plus.
Low Voltage/Electrical troubleshooting experience required
Experience programing, testing and inspecting fire alarms required
Ability to work cooperatively with employees at all levels of the organization.
Ability to be prompt and courteous when interacting with co-workers and customers.
Working knowledge of applicable NFPA guidelines
Minimum QUALIFICATIONS :
Michigan FAST license
High School Diploma
Ability to Pass Background Check and Drug Screening
Valid Michigan state driver’s license with the ability to maintain a clean driving record
