Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Determine design criteria for various design/build and plan/spec projects
- Design and hydraulically calculate complete sprinkler and standpipe systems using AutoSPRINK software.
- Coordinate design with other building trades
- Produce stock listings
- Coordination with project manager and internal teams
Job Requirements
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of NFPA and government fire safety standards and FM Global datasheets.
- Proficient in AutoSPRINK, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office software
- Capable of performing hydraulic calculations
- Experience with 3d BIM coordination
- Must work well with others
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of fire sprinkler design experience
- Valid driver’s license
- NICET Certification or PE is highly desired
