Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Program and commission newly installed fire alarm systems.
- Layout, assemble, and install low-voltage equipment in compliance with applicable codes and manufacturer requirements.
- Perform inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and servicing of fire alarm systems.
- Identify and diagnose system issues and provide timely solutions.
- Complete and submit detailed status and completion reports for customers.
- Educate customers on system maintenance and operation.
- Provide oversight and guidance to helpers and/or installers as needed.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with fire alarm system installation, inspection, and service.
- NICET Level II certification in Fire Alarm Systems required.
- FASA/BASA certification preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in electrical/electronics is a plus).
- Proficient in reading blueprints and product manuals.
- Working knowledge of test equipment, communication devices, and Windows-based software.
- Excellent communication, planning, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility, pride in work, and ability to work independently and outdoors.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving and criminal record.
