Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Program and commission newly installed fire alarm systems.
  • Layout, assemble, and install low-voltage equipment in compliance with applicable codes and manufacturer requirements.
  • Perform inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and servicing of fire alarm systems.
  • Identify and diagnose system issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Complete and submit detailed status and completion reports for customers.
  • Educate customers on system maintenance and operation.
  • Provide oversight and guidance to helpers and/or installers as needed.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with fire alarm system installation, inspection, and service.
  • NICET Level II certification in Fire Alarm Systems required.
  • FASA/BASA certification preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in electrical/electronics is a plus).
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and product manuals.
  • Working knowledge of test equipment, communication devices, and Windows-based software.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, pride in work, and ability to work independently and outdoors.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving and criminal record.
