Tentative Start Date: Summer 2025
This is a part-time salaried 10-month position. Hours are 11:15a.m. -2:40 p.m.
Potential to become a full-time position (7:40 a.m.-2:40 p.m.)

Responsibilities
his secondary high school position will be located at Copiague Fire Department in Copiague, NY in conjunction with our Republic Airport campus in Farmingdale, NY.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of Firematic industry experience.
Required certifications: Firefighter I, Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) Operations and Fire Instructor I
Preferred certifications: Firefighter II, Hazardous Materials Technician I and Fire Instructor II
Certifications must be from New York State, ProBoard, or IFSAC.
Must also be eligible for NYSED Teaching Transitional A Certification
