Position: Fire Protection System Inspector
Contract No.: 1521-SSS, Location: Various NYC Facilities
We are a Union Plumbing & Suppression company hiring a certified Fire Protection System Inspector to perform inspections and testing of sprinkler and standpipe systems at wastewater and pump station facilities. This includes monthly, annual, and five-year inspections, ensuring compliance with FDNY, NFPA, and City Building Code standards.
Schedule:

Work Location: On the road
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct monthly, annual, and five-year inspections of sprinkler and standpipe systems, including valves, gauges, control panels, and FDCs.
- Perform hydrostatic pressure and flow tests in coordination with Fire Department representatives.
- Maintain and submit inspection records to Project Managers. • Ensure systems meet all applicable fire safety standards.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Valid S-12 Certificate of Fitness (FDNY) or Master Plumber License for sprinkler inspections.
- Valid S-13 Certificate of Fitness (FDNY) or Master Plumber License for standpipe inspections.
- Knowledge of NFPA, FDNY, and City Building Code regulations.
- Strong record-keeping and communication skills.
