As a Product Manager in TikTok's Trust & Safety team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the safety of our online community. This position focuses on developing and implementing safety features and strategies to protect users, particularly young people, from harmful content and behaviors. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create best-in-class technical solutions for Age Assurance and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. - Lead end-to-end programs designed to enhance Safety by Design programs in TikTok.
- Develop and implement frameworks to proactively detect risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Articulate complex Trust & Safety strategies in a clear and cohesive manner.
- Align technical and non-technical stakeholders to build specific requirements to reduce risk across diverse regions and work cultures.
- Have a solutions-oriented mindset to effectively identify and address problems.
- Develop system implementation plans, scale safeguards across different products, and enhance existing processes.
- Support the implementation of regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
- Create and maintain project plans and roadmaps in accordance with organizational priorities, define delivery methodologies, and drive project execution and tracking.
- Collaborate with external partners to assess potential new technology integrations and develop integration plans for our products.
Job Requirements
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience in program management, particularly in areas related to Trust and Safety in technology or similar fields such as Risk, Fraud, Consulting.
- Experience in developing and implementing scalable systems and processes.
- Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and thought leadership, and capacity to adapt and thrive in fast-paced work environments with rapidly shifting landscapes and priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and external partners with excellent communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of current legislation related to Youth Safety or experience with regulatory compliance, governance, and risk management.
- Understanding of machine learning models and their application in safety measures.
- Experience working with global teams across multiple time zones, with the ability to shift priorities and adapt to change.
