We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fleet Manager to oversee our fleet operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing vehicle maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and optimizing fleet performance. Responsibilities
Duties
- Manage the daily operations of the fleet, including scheduling maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and operational readiness.
- Implement and maintain an effective fleet management system for tracking vehicle performance and maintenance.
- Develop and enforce safety policies related to fleet operations, including first aid and CPR training for staff.
- Analyze data to identify trends in vehicle performance and implement root cause analysis for any issues that arise.
- Prepare reports on fleet performance, maintenance costs, and compliance status.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and communication regarding fleet needs.
- Oversee workers' compensation claims related to fleet incidents.
Job Requirements
Experience
- Proven experience in fleet management or a related field is essential.
- Familiarity with EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) standards is preferred.
- Knowledge of fabricating parts or components for vehicle repair is a plus.
- Strong report writing skills to effectively communicate findings and recommendations.
- Certification in first aid, CPR, or occupational health is highly desirable.
- Experience with root cause analysis techniques to resolve operational issues effectively.
