Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Perform commercial kitchen exhaust system cleanings, including hoods, ducts, fans, and filters.
- Safely operate cleaning equipment and chemicals to meet industry standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company procedures.
- Climb ladders, walk up stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues.
- Drive company vehicles as required for job assignments.
- Keep a neat and clean van and maintain materials properly.
- Take new training courses as required.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience holding a valid FDNY Certificate of Fitness for Commercial Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English proficiently.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical capability to perform job duties, including lifting 50 lbs, climbing, and working in various conditions.
Recommended but Not Required:
- Experience in cutting and welding of access panels.
- Fan troubleshooting and repairs.
- Insulation repairs.
- Ductwork repairs.
- System modifications.
- Knowledge of Ansul suppression systems.
