Job Summary
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Alarm Technician to join our team working the construction of a Walmart Distribution Center in New Caney, TX. This is a full-time long-term position and once this project is completed you will move to another project in the area. We are paying $130 per diem while on site 5 days per week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various alarm systems, including fire alarms and low voltage systems. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with power tools, and the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Alarm Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients’ properties through effective alarm system management.

Responsibilities
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair alarm systems, including fire alarms and low voltage systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections of alarm systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively during installations and repairs.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with construction teams during installation projects to ensure seamless integration of alarm systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and providing technical support as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to alarm systems.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar role within the alarm or security industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using power tools.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and low voltage wiring practices.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Experience in construction inspection is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
