Job Summary
Firestop Lead & Firestop Installers Location: Kings Mountain, NC Project: Casino Construction Project Start Date: ASAP Duration: Multi-year project Schedule: Minimum 40 hours/week Pay: Lead: $22–$25/hour Installers: $18–$22/hour We are hiring a Firestop Lead and two Firestop Installers to join our team on a high-profile casino construction project in Kings Mountain, NC. This is a long-term opportunity with consistent hours and the chance to work on a landmark build. The ideal candidates will have experience with firestopping systems in commercial construction environments.

Responsibilities
Firestop Lead:
- Supervise and coordinate firestop installation activities.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and firestop details.
- Ensure compliance with UL systems, building codes, and safety standards.
- Train and oversee firestop installers.
- Maintain daily reports and quality control documentation.
- Communicate with site supervisors and project managers.
Firestop Installers:
- Install firestop systems (sealants, pillows, wraps, collars) around electrical, plumbing, and HVAC penetrations.
- Follow instructions from the Firestop Lead and project specifications.
- Maintain clean and safe work areas.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Job Requirements
Requirements
- Prior firestop cert (Hilti cert preferred)
- Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and in tight spaces.
- Strong attention to detail and safety.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
