Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

Salary Range:

$25.00/Hourly

Responsibilities

In this crucial role, you'll ensure a safe and welcoming environment as you protect our patients, employees, volunteers, visitors and property.  Greet people with a smile and offer a helping hand such as answers to general questions and directions to specific areas within our hospital. Monitor various security systems. Respond to emergencies. Investigate and report on incidents and play a key part in initiatives that improve our security practices.This position is a full-time evening position working from 3pm to 11pm. This position will include working weekends and holidays.

Job Requirements

Preferred Criteria

Police and/or security background preferred.

Required Criteria

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

Statutory Authority exemption or New York State Security Guard License

Valid NYS driver license.
