Salary : starter salary from £63,712 rising to £70,715 (Grade 12) in role
Location : The role will be flexibly based between Service HQ (Kelvedon), homeworking, and a requirement to travel around the county to visit all Service premises*

Essex County Fire & Rescue Services (ECFRS) is seeking a Head of Prevention, responsibleforleading our community interactions, andthe successful embedding and implementation of all Prevention strategies and action plans.
You will alsobe responsible forleading our Prevention function, which includes the following teams :
Live Safe : Home Safety & Safe & Well Delivery, Volunteering, Inclusion, Partnerships, ECFRS Heritage Functions, Community Wellbeing Officers, and TRI Service Officers
Education & Specialist Interventions : Cadets, Joint ECFRS & Police Education Officers, Duke of Edinburgh, Juvenile Fire Setters & Firebreak Delivery Programmes.
Road & Water Safety : Safer Essex Road Partnership(SERP) andpartnershipsactivities

Ensuring continuous improvement of ECFRS Prevention Interventions
Ensuring the development of robust evaluation and quality assurance processes
Alignment to National Standards and Legislative Requirements
Horizon scanning of government / national agendas to contribute and influence community-focused and a person-centred approach,
Champion collaborative approaches across prevention,protection,and response to supportorganisational priorities; placing people at the centre of what we do.
