Position Vacancy
MG Security Services is seeking a Supervisor to provide security supervision coverage in Brooklyn, NY. The right candidate must have open 1+ years of experience.

Responsibilities
- MUST HAVE A GUARD CARD.
- Provide a professional level of service to meet and exceed client expectations.
- Perform duties in uniform and maintain said uniform to ensure a professional image.
- Ensure personnel are adhering to MG Security Employee Handbook policies including, but not limited to attendance and punctuality.
- Proactively identify security related issues and take appropriate action to address.
- Respond to incidents, conduct preliminary investigations and make required notifications including to first responders, when appropriate. Ensure MG Security management are kept abreast of all priority incidents and events.
- Coordinate and lead security personnel while working with site management and first responders during an incident or emergency.
- Prepare Incident Reports based upon events occurring on site, when appropriate.
- Work with site personnel including fire and life safety personnel to ensure all safety and security related matters are addressed.
- Conduct site visits / inspections throughout the course of the tour and inspect personnel, Logbooks, reports, Time Sheets, and site conditions based upon Post Orders, client expectations, and senior management direction.
- Prepare site visit reports and forward to senior management at MG Security for review. Ensure immediate corrective measures are taken for any violations or issues observed.
- Respond to sites and resolve incidents or address post coverage issues caused by unforeseen emergencies or callouts that arise pending the arrival of permanent coverage.
- Collaborate with Client Service Managers to help identify properly trained and qualified replacement security officers and / or fire and life safety personnel to address callouts occurring during the overnight shift that impact the overnight shift or the early starts of the day shift.
- Proactively monitor “cold-starts” and ensure appropriate steps / notifications are taken to address situations that arise impacting coverage.
Job Requirements
- Must own / have access to a reliable motor vehicle
- Must possess a minimum of 1-2 years of prior security related supervisory experience.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and climbs stairs for extended periods of time.
- Must have a dependable and reliable attendance record.
- Must maintain a drug-free workplace.
- Must be customer service oriented and represent MG Security in a professional manner.
- Must be a positive role model while on duty.
- Must be proficient with computer applications including Microsoft Office and the ability to send, receive, and review emails, text messages, and voicemails.
- Ability to make decisions with limited supervision.
- Work independently as well as supervise a team.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Valiant is a plus.
- Knowledge of fire and life safety rules and regulations is a plus.
