Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations- Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions- Train employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and the proper use of safety equipment- Investigate accidents or incidents to determine root causes and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences- Collaborate with department managers to ensure that safety measures are integrated into daily operations- Stay up to date with industry trends and changes in safety regulations- Manage safety-related documentation, including incident reports, training records, and compliance documentation
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or related field- Proven experience as a Safety Director or similar role- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate and train employees at all levels- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions- Certification in System Design, Construction Inspection, or related field is preferred- Experience in Alarm System Sales, Fire Alarm Sales, or Fire Sprinkler Fitting is a plus
