Responsibilities
We are currently seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitter responsible for the installation of both new construction and retro fit fire sprinkler applications. A successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of NFPA Standards, OSHA regulations, and be an organized self-starter with sound communication skills. A Fitter must be able to read blueprints, specifications, project schedules, and attend job site meetings. The Fitter must be proficient with the installation of sprinkler mains and line piping; utilizing a variety of materials such as schedule 40/10 black and/or galvanized pipe/fittings, CPVC pipe, and fittings per blueprint specifications. The Fitter must also possess experience with the installation of a variety of sprinkler systems (Wet, Dry, Deluge, Pre-action, Fire Pumps, etc.) per blueprints, specifications, and building codes. The Fitter will install valves, devices and trim for system risers, alarm valves, dry pipe valves, pre-action valves, and backflow prevention devices.

- Minimum of 5 yrs. experience with fire sprinkler installation
- F2 CT Fire Sprinkler License
- Must have a comprehensive understanding of contract documents and fire sprinkler design
- Self-motivated with little or no supervision required
- Must have excellent communications skills to work with contractors and internal staff
- Knowledge of various types of sprinkler systems
- Knowledge of all NFPA codes and standards (NFPA-13, 14, 20, 22, 24 and 25)
- Ability to complete site surveys and identify code compliance issues
- OSHA 10 Required
- Valid Drivers license with clean record
