Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Physical Security Senior Associate to join their team based in the heart of New York, NY. Our client is a leading provider of low voltage solutions across multiple sectors such as finance, healthcare, education among others.

Responsibilities

As part of this role you will be responsible for:

  • Project Management and scheduling, developing design budgets, quality control, adherence to client directives and project scope, performing site surveys and/or client engagement to develop design requirements.
  • Drawing and specification documentation and cost estimating of new, existing, or extended electronic security systems.
  • Review, evaluate, and update drawings and product submittals, and prepare technical specifications for installation methods and components.
  • Coordinate physical infrastructure system layout and as-built designs with internal and/or external partner teams.
  • Play an integral role in the systems implementation process, acting as the primary point of contact between the systems vendor, the project team, and the client to ensure a successful implementation.
  • Interact with systems vendors to negotiate contract bids and awards.
  • Assist in the preparation of marketing materials and presentations, cultivating active and potential client relationships. Experience in marketing and business development
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry standards, methodologies, processes, and best practices and their impact on the project and operational.
  • Serve as a global resource for the firm where your specialties are required.
  • Work with a team of technical staff and provide mentorship to aid in their growth and development.
  • Assist in the preparation of marketing materials and presentations, cultivating active and potential client relationships and business development.

Job Requirements


Qualifications & Skills Required (not limited to):
To be considered for this opportunity we need candidates who have experience or qualifications relating but not limited too;

  • 7+ years of comprehensive experience in the security systems design or design/build field.
  • 4-year Engineering degree or equivalent experience required
  • Full understanding of the architectural and engineering design and integration process.
  • Experience with and technical working knowledge of security system design including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and advanced security applications such as biometrics, video analytics, and visitor management.
  • Working knowledge of electronic and physical security systems
  • Functional knowledge of AutoCAD, BIM, and Bluebeam applications
  • Ability to work well under strict deadlines, interface effectively with management, and handle multiple requests.
  • General knowledge of Information Technologies (IT) services and digital media delivery technologies, network hardware, infrastructure, and systems architecture such as IP, WAN, LAN Routers Switchers
  • Proven record of developing systems design using emerging techno
