Position Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Fire Sprinkler Inspector to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must hold a valid FDNY Certificate of Fitness S-12 (Citywide Sprinkler Systems) and S-13 (Citywide Standpipe Systems). The Fire Sprinkler Inspector will be responsible for performing inspections in accordance with NFPA 25, NYC Fire Code, and company standards.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Experience:
- ITM in Fire Protection: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled inspections, testing, and maintenance (ITM) of sprinkler and standpipe systems in accordance with NFPA 25 and FDNY regulations.
- Accurately document inspection findings and complete inspection reports using digital platforms or logbooks as required.
- Identify deficiencies, hazards, or non-compliance issues and clearly communicate them to internal teams and customers.
- Provide guidance and recommendations to clients on corrective actions.
- Collaborate with dispatchers, field technicians, and supervisors to ensure timely completion of work.
- Ensure all inspections are conducted with proper safety protocols and professionalism.
- Attend required safety and code update training sessions.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Valid FDNY S-12 and S-13 Certificates of Fitness (Required).
- Minimum 2 years of experience performing fire sprinkler and standpipe inspections in NYC.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 25 and NYC Fire Department codes and regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical or vocational training a plus).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, riser diagrams, and fire protection system drawings.
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Comfortable working in various environments, including basements, rooftops, and mechanical rooms.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record required
