Please note: this position is notional and contingent upon the award of a government contract.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections of fire alarm, fire suppression, and other life safety systems in commercial facilities.
- Conduct testing and inspections in accordance with NFPA standards and local code requirements.
- Identify deficiencies and document findings accurately.
- Create detailed inspection reports, deficiency reports, and compliance documentation.
- Communicate inspection results to customers and internal team members.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all completed inspections.
- Coordinate with service technicians and customers regarding follow-up repairs and corrective actions.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience performing fire system inspections.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and fire/life safety standards.
- Experience creating and maintaining detailed inspection and compliance reports.
- Ability to identify deficiencies and provide accurate documentation.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
- EST (of any level)
- OSHA certification preferred.
- Experience working with commercial fire alarm and life safety systems.
- Familiarity with inspection software and electronic reporting platforms.
