We’re seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Construction Manager to lead our Fire Protection projects in Northwest Arkansas. Responsibilities

As the Fire Sprinkler Construction Manager, you’ll oversee all aspects of fire sprinkler construction projects—from field operations and scheduling to personnel management and quality assurance. You’ll ensure compliance with company standards, safety protocols, and NFPA regulations while developing and mentoring field staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and set the standard for sprinkler field employees.
  • Recruit, hire, and train field staff based on business needs.
  • Conduct and manage apprentice and field training programs.
  • Attend weekly WIP, Forecasting, Labor Planning, and Invoicing meetings prepared with project updates.
  • Ensure Sprinkler Operations Processes and Tollgates are followed consistently.
  • Perform site surveys on retrofit projects and collaborate with sales teams on pre-bid deliverables.
  • Provide input during pre-bid reviews regarding labor hours, rates, and equipment needs.
  • Establish clear project scopes of work (SOW) and labor tracking plans.
  • Manage manpower planning and ensure adequate staffing for project schedules.
  • Oversee project progress at 25%, 50%, 75%, and 90% completion to verify accuracy of hours-to-complete estimates.
  • Review field timesheets, tool inventories, and subcontractor compliance.
  • Issue and manage subcontracts, ensuring insurance documentation is on file.
  • Monitor project profitability, material costs, and rental equipment usage.
  • Ensure all installations meet code and quality standards.
  • Lead safety initiatives, quarterly safety training, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Foster communication and coordination between design, sales, and operations teams.
  • Mentor field staff and create individual development plans to support growth and retention.

Job Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years of experience in the fire protection industry (construction or project management preferred).
  • In-depth knowledge of NFPA 13 and local building codes.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in project management, scheduling, and labor forecasting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and project management software.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass post-offer drug test, background, and reference checks.
