JOB DESCRIPTION

Global Security protects the firm's employees and assets throughout the world. This responsibility includes the development of security and safety policies and procedures, regulatory and legislative compliance, security guard management and alarm response, incident management, corporate building security and customer/visitor/client safety, physical crime investigations, workplace violence, fire and life safety, executive protection, pre-employment screening, security operations on a global basis, and fraud Investigations.

The Global Security Operations Centers (GSOCs) act as communication and situational awareness hubs for the firm's Crisis Management structure, operating 24x7x365. The GSOC Analyst coordinates directly with other security, resiliency, and intelligence professionals, and interacts with employees at all levels of the organization. The role is to provide comprehensive corporate-level preparedness and response coordination to major crisis events, as well as day to day disruptions, and to protect employees and property, customer assets, stockholder interests, and the firm's reputation.

As the Team Lead you will be responsible for directing and mentoring our team daily as it relates to monitoring, researching, reviewing, and analyzing data sources for dissemination and reporting purposes, to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures in a timely manner and in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute upon the requirements of the GSOC, delivering best in class service to the organization.
  • Oversee GSOC analysts and ensure duties and activities adhere to its mission statement.
  • Train, develop, coach, and assist GSOC staff to deliver upon all aspects of desired competencies and capabilities.
  • Enhance capability in the GSOC to proactively detect, monitor, research and respond to incidents and crisis events which has the potential to impact business operations.
  • Partner closely with all Lines of Business, Business Resiliency, Global Real Estate, Global Technology Infrastructure, Workplace Violence team and Regional Security Managers to ensure effective coordination of response and reaction to incidents and activities.
  • Prepare reports, metrics, measures and governance products as needed and required by GS and GSOC Senior Managers.
  • Aid in the development of standards, procedures, job aides and other documentation necessary to sustain and deliver GSOC operations.
  • Ensure that training & development programs are curated and maintained to onboard new personnel as required.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, equivalent military/law enforcement, and/or joint operations center/security operations center experience required.
  • At least three years directly transferable experience, and awareness & knowledge of incident management, business resilience, and security operations.
