Job Details

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Construction Safety Engineer to join a nationally recognized general contractor specializing in large-scale industrial and commercial construction projects. This role is ideal for someone passionate about creating safe work environments and driving continuous improvement in safety culture across job sites.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:Lead and implement site-specific safety programs across multiple active construction projects.Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to proactively identify and mitigate safety risks.Deliver engaging safety training sessions and toolbox talks to field personnel.Investigate incidents and near-misses, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.Maintain accurate safety documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in construction safety, preferably in industrial or commercial sectors.Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Ability to travel to job sites across the region.
