The base salary range for this position is $91,400.00 to $159,900.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

As a Mid-Level Fire Protection Engineer working with our Life Sciences team at our Conshohocken, PA location, you’ll use your skills and experience to help deliver and complete challenging and engaging buildings projects. You’ll assist in the design of Water Spray/Sprinkler systems, Fire Pump/Water Storage Tanks, Fire & Gas Detection systems, and Fire Alarm/Mass Notification systems while also helping develop the plans for the overall building safety.

Job Requirements

Here's what you'll need

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Protection, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

•    At least 5+ years of experience in design engineering of suppression system (wet-pipe, dry-pipe, preaction, deluge, foam, clean agent), fire alarm/mass notification system, smoke control system, fire pumps, water storage tanks

•    Experience with life safety requirements, building code analysis, passive fire protection systems, performance based designs

•    Working knowledge of relevant NFPA standards including but not limited to NFPA 1, 13, 20, 70, 72, 75, 76, and 90A, and 101

•    Working knowledge of relevant ICC standards, including but not limited to IBC, IEBC, and IFC

•    Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation, and Revit/Revit MEP

Ideally, you’ll also have:

•    Professional Engineering (PE) license or EIT preferred or the ability to obtain one

•    NICET certification or other relevant accreditation
