We are searching for a dedicated Design Co-op - Plumbing & Fire Protection who will join our industry-leading team at our state-of-the-art, corporate headquarters in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania.
In this role, you will be involved in the application of engineering fundamentals and project-related services in support of design assignments. This developmental position will enable you to apply theoretical knowledge to practical application.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do
- Work with assigned design engineers and drafters to execute design drawings and specifications as required to support assigned projects.
- Ensure code and statute compliance in all projects.
- Use computer-aided design technologies to develop sketches, drawings, and construction documents.
- Routinely archive and retrieve data from electronic database for support of work.
- Research equipment selection from catalogs under the direction of the Project Designer/Engineer.
- Become proficient in the use of a computer for Design and CAD applications.
- Maintain a neat and organized work area, which allows efficient access to project information required by other team members.
- Keep the Project Designer/Engineer aware of workload and request work when needed.
- Special projects as assigned.

Job Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in design engineering from an accredited technical institution or college.
- Proven time management skills in order to juggle more than one project at a time.
- Customer Service experience exhibiting strong oral and written communication skills.
