Security Officer
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer (Unarmed) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment at construction sites (when workers are leaving or have already left for the day). Security experience in preferred but not required.
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift
- Overnight shift
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Security: 1 year (Preferred)
Language:
- English (Required)
Responsibilities
Duties:
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a visible security presence
- Monitor property entrance(s)
- Investigate any disturbance on property and act accordingly
- Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as theft, vandalism, fire or presence of unauthorized persons
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED) is required
*Must have a valid driver's license & personal vehicle to drive to the work site and park on property during shift.
*Must be flexible to work any day of the week (including weekends) and any shift as needed - to be scheduled weekly (based on scheduling needs). This is not an on-call position. Position has potential to become full-time.
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
- N.C. PPSB UNARMED GUARD CARD (Preferred)
