Responsibilities
Witness testing and perform inspections for fire alarm,automatic fire sprinkler, fire code, and special fireprotection systems.• Maintain professional, timely communication with clientsand customers.• Ability to provide high level of customer service, managemultiple priorities, demonstrate attention to detail, andmeet deadlines.• Write clear and concise inspection reports completed in atimely manner.
Job Requirements
Education:• High school diploma or equivalent• Classes in fire technology or related degreeprogram preferred• College degree preferredExperience Perferred:• The ideal candidates will have 3 or more yearsof experience performing fire inspections,installation or design of fire alarm, automaticfire sprinkler, or special fire protectionsystems.• ICC or NFPA Fire Inspector and/or PlansExaminer certification.• Knowledge of NFPA and ICC codes.• MS 365 proficiency with Word, Excel, andOutlook.Physical Ability:• Ability to climb ladders and be raised in liftsto inspect fire protection system equipmentlocated near ceilings.• Ability to crawl on hands and knees to accesslow headroom spaces.• Ability to walk for long periods of time and toclimb multiple flights of stairs
