The Lead Security Supervisor is a full-time position and will oversee and manage the daily operations at our security client location in Brooklyn, NY. This position will lead a dedicated client account and build a relationship with the client. The Lead Security Supervisor will work closely with the client to identify their needs and develop strategies to ensure that the team is providing quality, cost-effective services.

Responsibilities
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide vision and support to the client’s security program growth and enhancement strategy.
- The management, direction, and oversight of the security officers regarding their performance and operations.
- Lead and motivate security officers by leading by example, and creative motivation techniques.
- Manage and deliver Security Officer training.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing and training requirements for the Silverseal Staff.
- Supervising, training, and evaluating the security personnel’s work performance and making recommendations / changes where applicable.
- Develop and maintain required policies and procedures for site.
- Ensuring that post orders and related site information are properly maintained, updated, and communicated to all relevant parties.
- Conducting on-the-job training of security shift supervisors which includes, but is not limited to, post order implementations and refreshers, routine responsibility changes, emergency situation responses and specific client needs where applicable.
- Manage and correct performance issues with Security Officers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the client.
- Responsible for communicating information to and receiving various requests from our client.
- Liaison with all client stakeholders
- Complete, review and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required by the
- Company and the Client.
- Manage staffing rosters, shift coverage, badge access control items, etc.
- Weekly validation of Time & Attendance records to ensure accuracy of data.
- Validation of “Winteam” clock-in & clock-out of all security officers and provide summary reports weekly to Silverseal Finance department to ensure auditable payrollrecords of all subordinates.
- Performance and compliance against the Client Service Agreement and Company standards.
- Ensure an effective safety management system.
- Development of Emergency Procedures and any temporary Instructions.
- Act as a point of contact for reporting any client security and emergency systems alerts (such as fire alarm, security systems), property damage in accordance with the agreed reporting procedure.
- Wherever applicable, introduce measurement and performance indicators (KPI) to ensure that standards are constantly maintained / improved.
- Carry out audits of the security operation as instructed by the client.
- Complete risk assessments and offer recommendations.
- Conduct investigations and prepare reports relating to internal investigations of any losses, or violations of regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Assist in emergency management and contingency planning preparations.
- Actively assist client with the development of client’s business continuity plan.
- Control Room management – ensure the technical equipment is operating to the fullest expectations (CCTV audits, Access Control audits, data protection).
- Reachable 24 hours a day / 7 days a week to respond to security-related emergency situations.
Job Requirements
Work Experience
- 5 years of experience successfully managing a business portfolio in the staffed guarding business.
- Demonstrated ability to holistically manage all operations of a security program,
- including operational, administrative, financial, payroll, scheduling, and human relations.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required; prior work-related experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- Law enforcement or military experience preferred.
- Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize urgent staffing needs.
