As we continue to grow across the Southeast, we're seeking a Fire Alarm Technical Sales Representative to support our expanding customer base. This is a great opportunity for someone with technical knowledge in fire alarm systems and a passion for building long-term client relationships. You'll enjoy exposure to diverse fire protection projects and the chance to drive revenue growth in partnership with our field operations teams. An ideal candidate has experience with fire alarm or fire protection systems and a proven track record in sales.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Act as the primary contact for assigned territory customers, both existing and prospective
  • Drive sales of inspections, service, repairs, monitoring, and small contracts
  • Prepare accurate and timely proposals, ensuring compliance with company standards
  • Maintain and track sales pipeline and reports in Salesforce
  • Conduct client meetings, identify opportunities for expanded services, and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Support job kickoff meetings and quote necessary change orders
  • Collaborate with field techs, sales, inspection, and service teams
  • Conduct periodic customer account reviews and renewals
  • Maintain up-to-date certifications and product knowledge
  • Prospect for new customers and expand service opportunities within assigned region
  • Maintain sales production volume to support Region's targets and objectives through sales and marketing
  • Review construction documents and ensure proposals meet fire codes and inspection standards

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • 4–7 years of experience in fire alarm or fire protection systems
  • NICET Level II certification (or ability to get certified within 1 year)
  • Solid understanding of fire codes, inspection standards, and construction documents
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM/database software
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout assigned region

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel extensively throughout assigned territory
  • Must be able to use a telephone, computer, and other office equipment
  • Must be able to visit job sites and conduct client meetings in various settings
